Mark your calendars and join us at the Airport on Saturday, August 15 (8 AM – 12 PM) as we team up with Wings of Mercy to celebrate National Aviation Day!
The day will start with the annual Wings of Mercy West Runway 5K at the terminal. All race registration fees go towards supporting the Wings of Mercy mission of providing free life-giving flights to patients in need. Register to run here.
After the race, enjoy a pancake breakfast and explore the other fun activities we have planned!

Don’t Go Out… Go Up!
Get the chance to experience history from the sky aboard the WWII transport airplane C-47 “Hairless Joe.” This is a 30-minute adventure with approximately 15 minutes of flight time. Once airborne, passengers may move around the cabin to photograph the landscape, cockpit and original paratrooper static line.
