Pavement Crack Filling & Sealing

December 2013 –  Approximately 26,000 linear feet of cracks in the runway and taxiway were filled and sealed to ensure jets and planes could safely land and take off from the airport.

 

Weather Briefing System

May 2013 – The WMAA Board approved a renewal, three-year contract with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for the continuation of a Weather Briefing System. The system is crucial for pilots in making safe weather flying decisions.

Geurink Boulevard Reconstruction

February 2013 – Reconstruction of Geurink Boulevard officially began on September 10, 2012 and was completed in December. Plan a visit this Spring and enjoy the hundreds of tulips that will be in bloom.
