WMRA’s Jet Float in 2019 Muziekparade

West Michigan Regional Airport’s jet float flew down the 8th Street Runway in the 2019 Tulip Time Muziekparade. This year’s theme was “paint the town orange” so the float was decorated using orange Monarch Butterflies and real bubbles that the children loved!

Chuck Doornbos from Doornbos Builders built the jet for the airport’s float and towed the float in the parade. Jackie, his wife, and Josh, his son, helped. Micah, his wife, Ann, and their one-year-old son, Max, traveled on the float waving at the thousands of spectators that lined the route. Thanks to all who made this a fun, festive and memorable day!
