The cold and wind didn’t stop the crowds from coming to watch the 2016 Tulip Time Muziekparade. Thousands of people lined the streets to get a view of the marching bands, floats and all the parade entries. For the sixth consecutive year the West Michigan Regional Airport’s jet float made it’s flight down the 8th Street runway. The float got its share of exclamations of delight from kids and photos from adults.
Special thanks to Vern Geurink who pulled the float with his truck, and his wife Mary and daughter Rachel who rode on the float. And we won’t forget Abinet and Adam in their pilot’s outfits carrying the banner.
