Winter Equipment at WMRA
For smooth operations year-round, Avflight maintains resident winter maintenance equipment at West Michigan Regional Airport. This equipment keeps our runways and aircraft clean, dry and safe for takeoff and landing throughout the snowy Michigan Winters. This year we leased additional heavy-duty snow equipment through Holland Equipment Services until March 2025 to keep the runway open all winter long. The lease consists of:
- Industrial-grade Snow Removal Plow & Blade
- 2024 Hyundai HL960A
- Metal Pless MaxxPro
Our other equipment includes:
- Snow Brush Truck Fitted with Brush & Belly Blade
- Aircraft Deicing Truck
- Sand/Solid Deicing Chemical Application Truck
