Celebrate National Aviation Day With Us

Join us in celebrating Aviation Day on Saturday, August 17, 2024! West Michigan Regional Airport is partnering with Wings of Mercy to put on a day filled with food, fun and flights!

We will kick off the day with the annual Wings of Mercy West Runway 5K at the terminal. All race registration fees go towards supporting the Wings of Mercy mission of providing free live-giving flights to patients in need (register to run here).

After the race, enjoy a pancake breakfast and explore the other activities such as free flights with Young Eagles for kids aged 8-17 (register here), face painting, ice cream, flight simulations and more!
