West Michigan Regional Airport Celebrates Completion of North Business Park Taxi Lane

We marked a significant milestone in our continued growth and development with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, October 24, celebrating the substantial completion of the North Business Park Taxi Lane project!

Approximately 50 community leaders, business partners, and aviation stakeholders gathered to commemorate the completion of this critical infrastructure improvement, which represents a $2.27 million investment in the region’s economic future.

“This project represents more than asphalt, it’s about creating opportunities for businesses to grow and thrive in West Michigan,” said Matt Neyens, Airport Manager. “The North Business Park Taxi Lane will enhance operational efficiency and make our airport more attractive to aviation-related businesses looking to locate in our community. We’re grateful for the strong partnerships with the City of Holland, City of Zeeland, and Park Township that made this investment possible.”

The North Business Park Taxi Lane project was funded through a combination of federal, state, and local tax dollars. The new infrastructure is expected to serve as a catalyst for business development in the airport’s north side, providing enhanced access for aviation-related companies and supporting additional job creation throughout the region.
