DEMOLITION DAY

Because of the West Michigan Regional Airport’s growth, a much larger and newer facility that reflected the economic health and vitality of the area replaced the former airport terminal building at the entrance of Geurink Boulevard. Ron and Linda Ludema used the ranch house for the terminal building beginning in 1976. The scheduled demolition of the building took place in late December. Ron took the first swing on demolition day.
