On August 12th, we welcomed our state senator, Roger Victory, to the airfield. Victory chairs the Senate Judiciary and Public Safety Committee and serves as assistant majority whip. He also chairs the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development and the Appropriations Subcommittee on General Government.
During his visit, Senator Victory toured our terminal, enjoyed a presentation on the airport, and met with several of our on-site businesses. He also met with Flight Path, one of the two nonprofit organizations operating at WMRAA. Flight Path educates middle and high school students about careers in aviation.
